Almost a house!

Wow, we now have all the external walls up - it was hard work over the Christmas break. Just the two of us doing all the work.

We drove out to the property after work yesterday so that we could get an early start before the heat set in. Scott is continuing with the internal walls, first off this morning is the second wall in our bedroom, which will finish the room off.

On our way here yesterday we stopped at Paddington to look at a couple of second hand windows found on Gumtree. We are self funding this project as we go so trying not to pay full price for anything. One of the windows was suitable for the ensuite although slighly too big but Scott will grid a few mls off.

My daughter and her partner are coming out to see our progress today, so far they have only seen photos. I cant wait to give them the grand tour!
